IT Network Engineer with knowledge of Windows 2000, 2003, IIS, SQL Server, Active Directory, basic Linux based systems knowledge and basic Mac OS X knowledge required by our Client.
The successful candidate is likely to come from a datacentre/managed services/hosting or ISP background with experience in the provision of Commercial, Web Based systems. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining assets and systems that support both their Customers and your key responsibilities will include: - Provide support in major incidents (ie out of hours and on-call) both planned and un-planned - To contribute to the definition and implementation of operating procedures and operability on new and existing systems, ensuring adherence to Operations Standards - To ensure that appropriate documentation is delivered, such as: support procedures for 1st Level (and fellow System Engineers) training documents, Service Level Agreements, FAQs, system schematics - To support Sales staff in pre-sales works This is an excellent role for a Junior IT Network Specialist looking for an exciting and varied role within this Multinational organisation.
